New today - November 28th.

What's a Sex Listings reject? It's an entirely new Listing added that doesn't actually indicate there's any action taking place. I have no idea if someone is trying to create an active cruising location or if it already is active. We've always had a rule about only posting new Listings that at least appear to be active. There's no exact science to maintaining the Listings so no doubt phony locations make their way online, and a decent helping of chance encounters. But I really hate deleting some of these new submissions that simply don't say anything about action had or witnessed. In some cases someone has clearly spent a few minutes and given excellent, detailed directions and/or location description. That shouldn't go to waste. So I'm going to experiment with posting these rejects on the Message Board. If I start getting some response and clarification then it may be something I keep taking the time to do. Here's the first one for Alabama.

Moving on, to the guy who submitted ten updates to the Massachusetts Listings in one day, thanks! Much appreciated. Though I really need some input on defining Greater Boston.

And thanks to the fellow for the Romania Listings update. We don't get many.

To the dude who submitted a 3,300+ word quote from the book The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment to the Georgia Listings: stop. And stop taking your reading queues from Oprah. Don't ask how or why but I read about half of that hunk of crap several years ago before putting it down and getting a therapist. The book's concept can be summed up like this: How to be Stoned 24/7 Without Pot. It's a fine idea to live in the "now" but this advocates taking it to spacey extremes, every waking moment. I'm close to being as pro-marijuana as it gets but there's a reason 99% of pot smokers relegate it to certain days and times. Hint: it has to do with the reason the author was homeless during part of the time he was discovering the "now."

Anyway brother, while I appreciate that you want to share something you found moving and transformational, in the way self-help books are, i.e. next Tuesday you'll transform back, the Sex Listings aren't the place to spread that kind of blissful joy. They're meant for a different kind of bliss. And stop watching so much Oprah.

And now for a couple of good updates from the week...

Florida Key West: One Saloon, 801 Duval Street. Cruise bar with dark room. This update added November, 2008: "I just spent five days in Key West. The Saloon can get pretty raunchy, after 1 or 2 am. My best advice is to get a day pass at the Island House, play there until 1 am, go to the Saloon and stay until 2 am and if nothing happens go back to the Island House for some more sex. I had my dick sucked at the bar and at the pool table -- can't complain. This place is very unpredictable; I've been there on weekends and nothing was going on, whereas on a Monday night people sucked and fucked all over the place."

Louisiana New Orleans: Jax Brewery, on Decatur Street. Cruisy toilet off the stairwell between first and second floor. This update added November, 2008: "I honestly went there to use the bathroom. I entered the building from the parking lot, and by the time I got to the elevators I saw two studs entering from the street entrance. I slowed down my pace and followed them. One went to a stall, but the other went to the urinals. I stood next to him. It was obvious he liked what he saw. We began jacking each other and his buddy left and closed the door behind him. We then took care of business appropriately."

Here are the updated Sex Listings from the week. If you submitted it before 3 pm PST today, it's online. Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend, gentlemen.
